League Table!

Most seasons the league table is tight but this season is beyond!! Normally it's just the playoff which is tight but even the top two are in reaching distance of the top 8 teams...
It looks like goal difference will be vital towards the end of the season!!

I don't think I can handle the play offs again this season and there's so many good teams occupying the top 8 places!!!! please please please can we go all the way n go up automatically!!!
 
Anyone down to 12th place (Leicester) is quite capable of making the play offs at least and I wouldn't discount Ipswich from making a late run - after Saturday of course!!!
 
I don't think the play-off is the place for you boys, you need to pull your finger out and grab that second spot, that means you need to travel north, not south! Just an observation.................<cheers>
 
its top spot we want phillip <ok>..........but hey ho phil its out of the fans hands,so dont blame us again if our team fails <ale>
 
How many points do we think will be enough for auto promotion this year? I think 88 should do it. That means we need 35 from 15 games. That is possible but not easy.
Play offs will probably need 77. We should be able to get 24 from 15 but that means our regular visit to the play off lottery. <yikes><yikes><yikes>

We've got no chance this year, just glad that we are now pulling away from the drop zone! Looking forward to the game on Saturday. We have a very good record over Cardiff but we have a poor record when Mackay has been involved in any team that we play. I'm hoping that you will have one eye on the Carling Cup Final and that we catch you cold!
