That would be workable. I like the idea of the third place play off. I doubt will will get anything so radical unfortunately. It's would be too exciting for them. Would your geographical idea work 100% though?

Every year the regional leagues would have to have the catchment areas reworked...but if we can do it with schools we can do it with football
