Quite the opposite. A lot of people seem to think this'll mean SPL2 and they're way more likely to get an invite to that and potentially be one season away from the top division. Which, of course, they'll never join if it has the same name.<ayeright> Personally, I don't actually care that much anymore. I just want a bigger division - I'd like places in it to be based on current league position but I don't have any massive strength of feeling about it (the involvement or otherwise of Rangers).

The new polish league set up sounds like a possible idea... 16 teams, splits at 30 games ... finish with 37 games a season.

I know most people don't follow Scottish football outside the Premier League except the sevco nonsense but this reconstrucion would have been a godsend to the rest of scottish football. Although I can't see why people think the 8 8 8 split is a good idea. Its a ****ing disgrace that so much of what would have been achieved for the betterment of Scottish football is dead because of a backhander from sevco to an SPL chairman with no morals.
