Back to the real world.

Despite the international break disruption to our own schedule, we're still in the top 6 with at least one game in hand on most - except Revell's Stevenage who've got a game in hand on us and played well earlier on, but have actually looked a bit fragile recently.

Noticed we're playing our home and away League One games against them just three weeks apart. It's what the pre-season fixture list's thrown up, but it seems a bit unusual. We're across there on Tuesday night Dec 9th, with Stevenage coming to the CCS for the return 20 days later game on the 29th straight after the season "half way" mark.

Lot of football to be played yet, but that pair of games could be a "12 pointer" at the death

Any other League One side impressed you recently? Rotherham and Burton have flown up the table. Here's the last 6 games form table - we've certainly not been so good.

With Mansfield up next, the form table suggests they could be a difficult opponent. Let's hope we get back to winning ways.

BT and I went there for a Carling Cup game 13 years or so ago. We lost. Wonder if they have finished rebuilding the stand along one of the touchlines?

Haven't watched the EFL show for a while but it was still a building site last time I saw it.

The stand is now finished, at long last. I've been there, and their old ground which was a three sided dump. From memory it only had a few seats, certainly in the low hundreds. :emoticon-0138-think

Luke Williams’ Peterborough hammer top of the table Stockport.

We could do with the ex jack boss doing us another favour for their home game on Tuesday night against Stevenage.

It's Stevenage's game in hand on us and we'll be off top spot before the weekend if Revell gets the win - I'd actually take a draw in that one right now.

Plus we’ve got Stevenage twice in December. Good time to open up a gap at the top.

He should have added a few more yesterday.
He’s on course for 20+
Given the discussions we've been having around the lack of suitable service he'd been receiving, and some of his early frustrations, I was surprised to hear he'd got as many as 8.

He had 9 in a struggling side from January last season, so hopefully a few more to come.

Stevenage have also got us twice :emoticon-0105-wink:,but unfortunately they have one less fixture than us in December. I think Bradford will be top in January as they’ve got some struggling teams to play next Port vale twice, Plymouth (A), Reading (H) and The O’s (A). They’ll get harder games in the New Year though with us mid month
