two friendlies against them in a matter of two weeks

 

Will be a good game- was mightily impressed with Reading in the last few months. Shame we didn't get Palace though, me and my palace supporting ''friends'' let ourselves get excited at the prospect. Oh well.

 

Attendance figures for the friendly will probably drop right down now.

Speaking of friendlies, anyone planning on going to Sunny Spain to see us play ummm Bristol or Cardiff?

 

I would LOVE to have gone to see us in Spain against either- unfortunately work doesn't allow me to take time off between June-late September.

Cardiff fans (not the soul crew crowd) have always been great fun.

 

I'm considering going to either or both, I'll just have to check prices of getting there, where to stay etc.

Not a bad draw, not too embarassing when we lose.

 

i hope we get through it would be nice having a cup run for a change where we knock out some champ/prem teams as oppose to us losing to the usual rubbish like northwich and whoevers near the bottom of league football!

 

i'm actually quite pleased with this draw as it'll give us a good yardstick of where the team is compared to one just beaten in the Championship play-offs which surely is where the board are hoping we will be in 2 or 3 seasons time?
