He seems a proper good guy in the group. Maybe hasn’t played much but all the clips I seen he’s always happy smiling and seems to have been a brilliant influence in the group which is where we’ve got our recruitment spot on recrntly.
Crouch's podcast is really good, apart from Chris Stark. He just feels like your mates annoying little brother who was always hanging around trying to be one of you.

Dont wanna jinx the lad and ive been careful not to so far but ****in ell how good can he be under the wings of vvd matip and joemez going forward, his performance against milan was his best for us so far and fir me he looked like hes already taken many things on board from the other 3 and the coaches and implemented them into his game in just a few weeks and some football. His attitude against milan was really mature for me, like he decided to take that game and be the dominating cb of the pairing, i know he was okaying with big Nat but i really dont think it will be long before we start talking about him on vvd levels. 6'4 and nearly 15st of pure speed and muscle, just add the brain & consistency and were laughing with this kid.
Certainly has all the physical attributes to be a top top CB. Talk strong quick, good in the air, comfortable on the ball. Just need to work on his positioning, reading of the game etc, all the things that generally come with experience. Just have to remember VVd was playing in Holland and scotland at his age so he’s still young.
Nice message that from Ibrahimovic. I noticed at one point in the game Konaté was guarding the ball out of play and out of frustration Ibrahimovic threw him to the ground; ball goes out and Ibrahimovic turns, picks Ibou up and they shake hands. Passion and respect captured in one moment.
