I am happy with that as I believe if we field our normal team we will progress and another basic stat, at least 5 prem teams will be knocked out this round! If we were to get through we would have a chance at trip back to wembley!
Great draw for us,chance to progress,couldn't give a sh*t about seeing a big club,i want saints to win! we will meet them along the way somewhere if we get through.
Said it wasn't exciting but I did hope before to avoid the big guns to improve our chance to progress, but a pity it's not at SMS.

I did say we would get palace good draw for us, good chance to get through and if we do we are likely to get a good quarter final game, imagine if we made it to the semis or even the final. I can dream.
well if we can beat Palace, get the winners of Cardiff / Burnley, and beat them,, then we are in a 2 legged semi final ! Now I am getting carried away...
I seem to remember us doing well in a cup match after we beat Crystal Palace in 1976 an omen perhaps, but definitely no fedoras please.
Yeah, it's certainly not an exciting draw, but it is a draw which gives us the potential to progress whilst also allowing us to play the fringe players again. And there's no chance of it ending our winning streak at home (touches wood that it is still going on come the end of october).
