No chance, 2 of Chelsea v Man Utd and Middlesbrough v Sunderland and Liverpool v Swansea (would you believe it!) will be televised
I wanted a game I could go to. I am NOT traveling up to Yorkshire on a Tuesday night when I have a lecture at 9am the following day.
Isn't there usually 3 games? Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday? Was in the first 2 rounds anyway! Although those 2 games have more of a chance than we do admittedly! As said, it's the potential
Or Reading v Arsenal. Our game isn't very interesting to the outsider. Bet Leeds will be up for it as we got promoted only last season. They will feel that they have something to prove. From our point of view this competition could be opening up...hope we put out a competitive side.
Tough, tough draw for us. We will need to play the big stars like Ramy, Lalla and Lambo in order to progress to next round.
I hope they are at least on the bench. But it will depend on what position we are in the PL come the last week of October (when the next round is).
Swindon v Villa, Liverpool v Swansea, Chelsea v Utd, Boro v Sunderland all have more chance of making TV than us
Despite their anger when they signed him, I see that many Leeds fans have realised what a horrible **** that Diouf is and have totally taken him to their hearts as one of their own.
Actually, we'd need a minimum of 2, maybe 3 players. Kelvin, of course, for the defence, plus Rickie for the volley and Tadanari for the assist.
Leeds should really be in the Premier League, after watching the game yesterday you could really see that they are a Premier League club. Great club. It makes me sad to see a club like Wigan in the Premier League and Leeds in the championship. All Leeds need is a rich owner.
That's a bit harsh. Yes they've got a dickhead for a manager and a twat of a chairman but I have no problem with the club itself. Especially as the 6 points we took off them last season were vital for our promotion.
Great club. We need to get Wigan relegated, I'll have a big party then. Warnock is such a lovely guy, I've met him and I asked for his autograph after his team (Sheff Utd) got turned over and he gladly signed. Great guy, you guys just don't understand him because he is passionate about his job. Top bloke.
A winable game (not easy) but a good chance to get to the last 8,then the semis & then who knows. People derided the JPT but enjoyed the final & the Fa Cup against Arsenal when we got to the final without coming up against Orem opposition.
