Horgan seemed match fit (he has played a few league games already) and was everywhere when he came on. The defence was superb again. Positive signs.

I thought the Generals played well had a couple of good chances in the first half controlled Toney well when you think what he did to us last season, that goal will give Horgan bags of confidence. Brentford had players missing, when you look at Brentford who at one stage during the lockdown were favourites to go up until they blew it, I am probably far happier with our performance than a Brentford supporter would have been.

Just watched the highlights and have to say I thought the straight Red was a bit harsh. It looked to me that he got the ball but went through on the player but hardly in mid air or with two feet. If anything maybe a yellow but even that would be harsh. Brentford were a top side last season so something to hold onto.

Considering our starting line up and the sending off we did pretty well and could have snatched it at the end with Fred having a chance and the keeper catching Kashket could have been a pen

No way a red card. The other player arrived after Gape had got the ball. Pity there wasn't VAR

    Unlucky yesterday
The red card was harsh and you could have been ahead early on
Play like that all season and you should be ok
Good luck for the season apart from two games of course
