Risdale seems to be a bad omen & I'm surprised the FA/FL allow the bloke to continue meddling within the game. He certainly doesn't bring much good fortune, does he.. The Bournemouth fans must have extremely short memories. Whilst I appreciate they are only interested in the NOW & not the past, it was only 2 years ago (?) that he saved the club. Give the man some slack, for heavens sake. Surely he's earnt some respect? One of the things I dislike within the game is the extreme fickleness some supporters have. Two years ago Bournemouths chairman was a saviour. Now supporters are booing him, slating him left right & centre and at the same time, expecting him to dip into his own account to pay for players/staff or whatever it be. Honestly, they need a rocket up their ar5es! It's a thankless task being a chairman. Thank **** we have RW in charge..
Quite agree Jenny. Bournemouth clearly over achieved when they were promoted and somehow continued that last season. I thought they might be fighting relegation before the season started and it's looking more likely each week. Noel Gallagher was wise when he turned down overtures to get involved in the Man City boardroom on the grounds that it'd soon be his name the fans were chanting - and not in a good way! Of course these days a mere multi-millionaire rock star is nowhere near rich enough for the Premier League.
quite agree about fickle fans, for evidence turn to the arsenal boards, the fans are having a real go and i have thrown petrol on the fire with comments about unbeaten shrews whooping the reds. they do not like it up 'em do the arsenal. but i hope to inflame them a bit more up until 20.9.11
we have still been at the lower echelons for a long time though!!...dosent matter how much we love Roland
Compare the position we were in when RW was first involved with what we have now. Higher attendances, new stadium, not going bust. We might still be in the 4th league but we have a very good chance of promotion - and sustainable promotion too as we're not breaking the bank to do it. It's not about loving Roland, it's about having a healthy, viable club. We do and I would be very cautious about disturbing that.
Strangely enough, ITS has been saying exactly the very same (on another site). Whenever he mentions a certain (non) issue, you appear to mirror him & mention it too. Strange that, eh?! Now ITS is a Wrexham supporter. He is registered on the very same site you are registered to, as a Wrexham supporter. I'm sure this is purely a coincidence & you have blue & amber running through your veins, hmmmmm..
While I agree people can support two clubs should they wish. It'd be most unusual to support two rival clubs. Have you not noticed that Tinned Hats writes only disparaging comments about the club? I suspect he & ITS are the same person, that is all.. I'll now go back to being a tart.
hang on a minuet, you have gone too far now, i have never wrote disparaging remarks about our club, i have stated all along that i don't like clubs that have one person running the whole dame show, now i have never said anything bad or ever will about our great club, its time you started to think before you throw accusations around, i have supported this club and always will and i don't need a jumped little Hitler like you to tell me any different...if anything perhaps you should start writing something interesting for a change!!...idiot!
shrewsbury town can ill afford this latest distraction before a great and glorious victory down at the mem. point one jenny is not a tart but a saintly lady of that certain age. point 2 i recall tinned hats coming on our boards and having most forthright views on how clubs are run. i cannot recall wrexham being mentioned before on our boards apart from the usual insults etc. there has never been a better time to kiss and make up. how about it. i am off now to think up some useful banter for tonight. floreat salopia
That’s the difference between Bristol Rovers and Strawberry Town. Aspirations of a tin pot club
Don't call your club tinpot. My remark is stating that I would like our club to get promoted and remain in league 1 for a few years to consolidate. That is different to being a yo-yo club like bristol.
the term yo yo cannot apply to the gas as they appear to be in freefall. is gt in germany tonight or will he watch a dvd of the arsenal game. yo ho ho and a bottled gas!
I'll assume GT is in Brizzel down the Kebab and Calculator having a pre-match pernod black. (quiz - does anyone know where that pub reference is from?) please log in to view this image
jenny saintly?.......sorry AJ but if im not happy with anything...ill say, but i wont have that brassed up old tart making me out to be a wrexham fan!!...i would rather kiss my next door neighbours cats arse first!!
i am still hoping for a meeting of minds, but i will butt out it is none of my business. over to you moderator
