Good to see Luggy doing well again - wasn't given much chance with Saints. Crewe are just fantastic at developing players so it would be good to see them promoted and Southend belong a little higher up, so no preference there. Torquay in the other game no question. League 1 looks like Huddersfield most likely, the Sheff U/Stevenage game strikes me it could be a battle! As for the Rhodes question, if Hudders promoted I think he'll stay, otherwise depends on the bids. Lots of empty seats at Crewe, good game so far tho
Stevenage were poor in Friday evening’s first leg. They lacked pace, creativity, and, apart from RB Wilson they were very cautious. Up front Agyemang, on loan from PL QPR, looked poor. Indeed they rarely looked like creating a chance let alone scoring. Sheffield Utd on the other hand, especially in the second half, showed mobility, good interpassing and looked the more likely to score. Left footed veteran Stephen Quinn looked as if he could be a key man in this second leg. 2. Yes it was 2-2 at Bramall Lane when these two met on April 28th, but on the evidence of Friday evening’s game United currently look much the better side. 3. Stevenage will, as always, be solid, physical, and a set piece threat but they will probably find this game a ‘match too far’. IN SUM - United striker Richard Cresswell will probably start tonight and reverting to 4-4-2 from the 4-4-1-1 they used on Friday, United should be able to nick a vital win tonight.
