OK doke all - at 17:00 GMT today the loan window shuts.

NP commented after the CP game that we lacked width but our only true "wide" player is Dyer who is a no more than a squad player at best IMO. DO we think NP and Walshy will pick a rabbit out of the hat? Kebe anyone?

Kebe would be nice, but hes a Reading regular, so its verrry unlikly.

I don't think anything will be happening tbh, think it will be a "wait till January and buy what we need" job.

I would take Kebe but i dont think Nigel will. I dont think we will sign anyone but if we do it will probaly be a kid out of one of the top teams reserves

It would be a real surprise if City do any loan business today before the 5pm deadline.

Looks like Joe Mattock could be in the Portsmouth side to play #LCFC on Saturday. Loan deal happening says BBC Solent.

On a personal note for Joe M - If he does play I hope he doesn't end the match in the same way he did the last he played us <yikes>

Pearson - #lcfc have "made inquiries in certain areas" when asked about loans but "can't see it happening in either direction" 5pm deadline

it will be interesting to see how nige does it- throws money around on big proven names like Mills now that it is there, or pick up gems and less knowns like he has done in the past.
