There were no English in Britain at the time of Boadicea. The island was inhabited by the Celts i.e The British.Hundreds of years later you English immigrants came to our island and ****ed it up.Why don't you all just **** off back to Germany where you came from.****ing foreigners On a more serious note,it's about time UEFA showed some balls and banned the Italians from Europe. I hope the Spurs lads who were injured make full recoveries
Hate to mention this but I think you will find that the Celts themselves are immigrants from the Basque / north west region of what is now Spain
There was no-one here when we arrived. For years historians believed the Celts were originally from eastern Europe but as you say it is now thought the Celts were from Iberia.
We are ALL immigrants in Britain it's just that some have been here longer than others. And yes we know goonercymraeg the Welsh have been here a very long time. You would have thought they would have progressed more because of that, but no they still allie themselves to the wrong cause (Arsenal). Get back to your mountains your sheep are escaping. Be quick you don't want to catch an ugly one!
Spurs61 That was just a stop on the way for the Celts, they may well have come from India. Hence the similarity in accent of the Welsh and the Indians when they speak English.
Sincere sympathies to the Spurs fans involved but it's hypocriticial for fans of English clubs to complain when were the ones that exported the disease in the first place. Unfortunately thanks to this and Heysel, Italy has never been a nice place for English Fans. I'm not condoning the behaviour, all I can say is I wish the Spurs fans involved a speedy recovery.
The game of football has been associated with violence since its beginnings in 13th century England. In fact six successive Kings tried to ban the game without success. But of course when history talks about football we are talking abut a game more like Rugby than modern Association Football which began in 1863. So yes we exported it along with the game. Poland is the worst place for it at the moments it appears but most European countries have experienced it. Having said that this latest Italian case seems to have another element in the connection with anti- Jewish sentiments. So it's more like the Rangers - Celtic sectarian rubbish.
No it's not, it's totally unacceptable no matter what country it's in or which fans are involved. If it were Spurs I'd be just as disgusted and totally ashamed to be a Spurs fan too.
It's been a long time but weren't the first British fans attacked abroad were Spurs fans in Holland for a Cup Final second leg. Don't forget the nasty Romans landing on the coast and kicking British(future Welsh) butts out of the country. I believe the first football matches started in Asia when the nasties chopped off the locals heads and started a two hundred a side football match.I think they played until the local "pubs" opened!!!!!?
It's the dirty Lazio/Roman thugs again. UEFA will do sweet fa as normal. Funny, there seems to be a special relationship there....
There's no reason for them to act - if it was in or around the stadium on matchday it's the responsibility of Lazio, if it's in the city the day before it's the responsibility of the local police.
Roma fans were behind it. Blaming Lazio would be as relevant as blaming Arsenal fans for the behaviour of Spurs fans abroad.
