Hence why I said Coloccini may possibly play. I'm not in charge <laugh> It's up to Pardew, Colo and the medical team. If they deem him fit to play, he will play, naturally. It's obvious we don't want to rely on a CB pairing that have never played together before. Obviously I don't wanna risk him in case he gets injured again, but if he can play then I don't see why he shouldn't. God knows we'll need him.

Of the 14 games so far, lawro has only ever got four results right in terms of a win, lose or draw, with every other time nufc actually doing better than he predicted. and the four he got right were three fairly certain home wins and the away loss to man city.

lets rejoice that he has us down to lose to norwich - he has always predicted us to lose away yet we pick up points away from home pretty well!

It's going to be very tough, but as long as we take our chances.
This game has draw written all over it, but i still think that someone will win it.
We need all our big players to show themselves. Especially with Colo and Saylor out.

    C'mon the toon.

I'll go for 2-1 to the NUFC. :D

If Lawro got his predictions right we'd probably still be in the Championship.

Lawro clearly just looks at the scorelines. In all three of the 'tough games' we showed class. Against Man City, we showed we're decent though were beaten by the better team, against Man Utd we showed defensive strength and an ability to frustrate a top class team and we matched Chelsea, a team that should be pounding us (without the help of the refs). Look at the numbers and we got thumped by two teams and got a lucky draw at Old Trafford.

His comments are just daft, fair enough if he was to predict a home win based on the fact we'll be playing with two reserve centre backs but all the rest he mentions is just bollocks. I can see 2-2 or possibly 3-2 to us. Can see us going back to the 'we'll score one more than you' style for a bit.

You are on a bit of a wobble. That has been proved today. And if you did get three points from City, United, and Chelsea, you would have done alright.

Even before today's game I don't see much wrong with Lawro's comments. And today's game seems to have vindicated them, and actually made your own comments look like a bit of a joke.
