Lawro .... Respect his objective unbiased opinion. Stonewall pen, Evans got the ball, Suarez diving. Good refereeing except that low life Suarez should have been yellow carded for such a blatant dive

 

Bit suprised that he said all that considering he normally talks a lot of nonsense but spot on with his views of these decisions in the game.

Not surprised. You should take a look at their match thread - about ten pages of them bleating that all the decisions went their way cos Gary Neville said so, then Lawro turns around and completely sinks their arguments

It is fine saying his opinion is correct and Liverpool fans should not be complaining, if it was actually correct! But according to my tv and Sky's cameras, Lawro is wrong! So there...

Not that one - I was talking about the penalty claim for Evans' tackle on Suarez.

Tbh Evans was lucky to stay on the pitch with that tackle. Wasn't a million miles away from looking a lot like his one on Holden, and Kompany's one on Nani in the FA Cup last season. I think the fact that Shelvey's was worse has saved Jonny there.

 

Might have something to do with my hometown being called Newcastle. Not much but its a lot more than most plastics. Last time I checked there's no Manchesters in Ireland, so what's your mod, conts-something, excuse?

 

Not seen a vid of that one, but watched the close up replay a few times on sky. It looked a bit like the one that Galatasaray were claiming against Evans to me. I thought he got away with it because of Suarez's over reaction, Suarez's reputation and the path of the ball after the tackle. There was very little contact and so it was really difficult to call, pretty much the same contact as the Valencia one TBF.
