I've enjoyed every moment of this thread. Not quite the same extent but Lawro had us finishing joint bottom with QPR last season, when in reality we had our best ever premier league finish of 8th. He must be employed for entertainment purposes only, they can't seriously believe he is good at what he does.

p.s. COME ON LEICESTER, YOU CAN DO IT!!

Another piece of expert wisdom from the great man on MOTD2. Apparently he thinks Mahrez should never be required to carry out defensive covering duties. What an absolute plank! If we are playing with 2 strikers then obviously Mahrez has to help the midfield out, because that is his position. If we only play with one striker with Mahrez just behind then that's a different matter.

He's flipping at it again. I said he'd eventually jump on the bandwagon & he has. 2-0 win.

Although he couldn't stop us last week so let's hope he doesn't do it this week either.

I think this will be a really tough game ..but Lawro's and Merson's predictions are based on a 'Leicester must fall away at some stage' premise rather than form ... because on league form Palace are woeful ... we just need to do what we have done all season.. confound the 'experts' ... :)

Now now, Merse has given us waaay more credit than most pundits this season, hes got a good point that we can't play like we did against Newcastle and expect a result here...

... Lawros still being a dick though ...

On the positive side, he got the Spurs result right today .... lets hope he continues to have a good week of predictions

So has Merse, i'd like to think that Sunderland will faulter after a good performance last week, certainly not a game to take lightly.

Think its actually going to be beneficial to have some older heads at the back when marking up Defoe, a battle of experience.

I'll take yet another scraped 1-0 win please <whistle>
