Skrtels out as well, so how are they going to be the only club this season to stop us scoring? Im not saying we're going to win, but you'd probably get good odds on us not scoring at all!
..stop tempting fate lads ..they are,if nothing, unpredictable..they looked unbeatable when stuffing Citeh at the Etihad ..
Absolutely, but i can't see them stopping us at least scoring 1. Losing to Watford and Newcastle recently can't do much for their confidence.
It's not so much the scoreline that makes me laugh it's the bit of text above it. "Here's loads of reasons why Leicester are great at the moment...here's loads of reasons why Liverpool are poor at the moment...but, for some reason, I fancy Liverpool to win...it's because of the...err...atmosphere...and because it's boxing day...yeah that'll do..."
The super computer he is up against has us to score, you would think that would be a clue for him but then what could a super computer tell Lawro about football
If football matches all went according to form it wouldn't be the exciting sport and talking point that it is; top teams would always win and the underdogs would always lose. It's the hope over expectation that keeps us 'smaller' teams going. Tomorrow I am very much looking forward to (although with the usual worry that it surely can't carry on like this) seeing how the underdogs of our low spending, hard working, 'team ethic based' football club fare against the latest bunch of expensive and under achieving superstars.
Paul Merson has it down as a 2-2 draw Vincent Kompany is injured so I think their backline is there to be shot at
agreed. .. but we need a considerable step up on yesterday.. only got going in the last quarter .. Dyer might be in contention for a start
I reckon he must read this page and be enjoying his notoriety. He must really have enjoyed being right for the Liverpool game,
Lawro appears to have a mental block where Watford, West Ham and ourselves are concerned.. the 3 of us have been in his bottom 4 (with Villa) for as long as I have been monitoring the table further down his prediction article ..conversely Liverpool have been consistently above their actual League position. ... Surprise surprise
Mystic Lawro strikes again. I just think this game will be completely different, though, especially because I cannot see striker Jamie Vardy returning from injury yet. Tottenham will be much improved with their strongest line-up, and should take the points. Bad news Lawro Vardy is fit and our line up will be much stronger then the one we put out in the cup compared to Spurs. Only really Lloris and Vertonghen didnt make an appearance for them We had no Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Simpson, Drinkwater, Mahrez or Vardy
.. he's gone for the same scoreline he went for in the cup ... Spurs are, at least, one of the pundits / bookies favourites to be up there so at least he has some credibility with this one ... although his comment that Spurs will be much stronger is mislaced ... as Proud notes they more or less finished with their strongest XI - yet didn't really look like scoring until the ref stepped rather fortuitously for them ... ... this will be a test of our credentials - hopefully we rise to this challenge like we have done to the majority all season ... hopefully Lawro left with more humble pie crumbs round his mush come the end of the evening ...
Anyone noticed that his prediction table is almost exactly opposite to real for us? Ie he has that we have won 2 when we've lost 2 and the wins 11 to 11 losses on his table
Someone in the merc must have popped onto here http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/L...e-based-Mark/story-28509656-detail/story.html
Lawon is doing spectaculary well ... two of his predicted bottom 4 are currently in the Prem top 5 ,,, West Ham fans will consider him more of a prat than we do ... he has them as second bottom with only Aston Woeful below them
