Technically our stadium is sold out nearly all the time, if people chose not to go then there's nothing that can be done, people have still paid for the seat, and you can't double sell a seat for safety reasons

it don't say a lot for your popularity if thousands of season tickets holders can't be ****ed to turn up for games when they've already paid <laugh>

I know it's harder for clubs to sell tickets cos of the recession (lots of clubs have had empty seats this season but **** me...not turning up after already paying...that strikes me as a big problem...if they won't turn up when you have CL football what will happen if you fail to get CL football next season?

It's got **** all to do with CL football. When we built the Emirates, the club actively sought more high paying corporate fans. Some of whom don't baulk at paying high prices and not bothering to turn up.

It not some empty seats though...its thousands. That is a problem cos it looks bad re sponsors etc. And those tourists will move on if you don't have CL football leaving thousands of unpaid for seats empty...that is one reason why CL football is so important for you.anyway this is a laugh at us thread so enough of the reasonable chat....

Im sure that carling cup win will live deep in your memory, years from now you will remember it fondly, tell the grandkids about the time you conquered the odds and won the big prize in the face of adversity. I hope that memory brings you lots of joy.

There have been...you can see swathes of empty seats in the arsenal supporting sections of the emerates....there were plenty of empty seats a mate who is a season ticket holder said she estimated around 1000 at the Man City match...the Blackburn match clearly had a large number of empty seats which could be seen on TV. And other matches have shown plenty of empty seats .

I ain't digging mate (we have seen many more games go to general sale as have most teams...west ham were advertising their match v us on talksport just a week before it took place....all of this in my opinion is due to the recession)....I think Arsenal are more at risk of having more empty seats if the ain't in the CL next year.

This snobbery is tragic...Arsenals first trophy under graham was the league cup...the 1993 season was a big deal when you won both domestic cups...but now it don't count? The prem and CL money has killed footballs soul imo

Spurs losing 2-0, 1 more goal by Inter and it's tied...It's a strange one, I enjoy seeing Spurs lose, but if they go through it wouldn't be that bad, more games for them is better for us, especially when they're playing a tiring game like today VS Inter.

And Inter make the comeback, 3-0.

Haha, Gallas like a ****ing idiot manages to deflect his kick of the ball into the net.

Spurs' defence all over the place, 6 goals conceded now in 2 games, a sign of things to come?

Do Spurs fans honestly believe Walker is a good RB? It seems like he's all pace and no positional sense at all. Not to mention all the stupid fouls he gives away around your box <laugh>
