No - falling over with intent to con the referee is diving. Anything else isn't. But there is much more point of trying to con the referee if you are in the penalty area so it makes sense to point the finger at those who win penalties rather than those who don't.
Bale is a self confessed diver. He dives both in and outside of the box. Sometimes he fools the ref, sometimes he doesn't. But he is a diver
Spurs have much more reason to laugh at Arsenal I mean look at the facts. 2000-2001 2 Arsenal 12 Tottenham Hotspur 2001-2002 1 Arsenal 9 Tottenham Hotspur 2002-2003 2 Arsenal 10 Tottenham Hotspur 2003-2004 1 Arsenal 14 Tottenham Hotspur 2004-2005 2 Arsenal 9 Tottenham Hotspur 2005-2006 4 Arsenal 5 Tottenham Hotspur 2006-2007 4 Arsenal 5 Tottenham Hotspur 2007-2008 3 Arsenal 11 Tottenham Hotspur 2008-2009 4 Arsenal 8 Tottenham Hotspur 2009-2010 3 Arsenal 4 Tottenham Hotspur 2010-2011 4 Arsenal 5 Tottenham Hotspur 2011-2012 3 Arsenal 4 Tottenham Hotspur Feel shame and humiliation you lot
I just posted about Bale's diving in the match thread. It's actually appalling how often he does it but I doubt he will get much, if any scrutiny from the press as Cazorla did.
santi has got some way to go to catch up with Galen in the diving stakes . Booked again for diving ! w@@@@@@nker !
Yup, all three referees just happened to be inept when it comes to Bale and his 'diving'. There's no positive correlation whatsoever.
Booked 5 times for simulation already, but of course it's the ref's fault. Forgot about the conspiracies for a minute - silly me
eh? Once upon a time in a far away land, Bale went down legitimately so all other instances of him hitting the ground must also be legit..... ummmm, nope.
Today's booking showed on the replay that the Sunderland player made contact with Bale's knee - at full pace, slight contact is enough to knock you off balance. There was another against Fulham a few weeks ago where Bale had his foot trodden on and he got booked for that too - the problem there was Bale threw his arms up. I happen to think he does go down too easily and looks for it. But when you look at other teams - Suarez is hit and miss on whether he gets them (although his pen against Stoke was very soft), Hazard at the start of the season, Cazorla against West Brom I think - it's clear that everyone looks for it.
As always, deflect from the main issue by talking about other players. Everyone can see he consistently dives, it's not even an argument.
please log in to view this image Not a dive. Compare to Jenkinson's, for example: Defoe did dive, on the other hand.
please log in to view this image Just saw this for the first time on MOTD, so went and found the gif. Cause he did not win a pen/free kick, so he is not going to get slaughtered for it by the media, but that is a ****ing terrible dive. Worse than anything Bale has done.
