The point was about the game being called boring....my comparison was with your recent nil nil games... I typed it slowly so you could keep up
ok lets forget the childish chiding . When one looks at a game of football one is inclined to expect , not demand , a goal or two. When this is not forthcoming one can deem the game to be " boring " You could say that our draws were also "boring " , but given your start to the season , one can only begin to wonder when a change of system and tactics will happen in the spurs team. We had our draws and seem to have learned from them . AVB , from the outside looking in , does not seem to glean anything from the previous performance . Nothing seems to be changing at spurs . While we look on with amusement , i wonder how long it will continue before the spurs fans ....do not .
Firstly...hope I didn't offend ... just jesting mate... To be honest the 2 disallowed goals and the fact we played well made it ok tonight. I was unconvinced re AVB and still am...we lost when we deserved a draw v toon followed by 2 fortunate draws and a deserved win. The last 2 games have been a step forward but...I won't believe in us moving forward until xmas when we will have played all the teams in the prem and seen how we have done in the league cup and europe. Personally I hold out little hope...think we should have asked David Moyes but what's done is done and now I think AVB needs to be given time...but spurs are poor at being patient.
One of the things that stood out for me last night was how quiet it was at WHL, I know it's only the Europey league, but Spurs fans were shamed by being outsung by the Lazio fans who it has to be said, made a decent effort travelling all the way from Italy on a Thursday night for a mickey mouse cup. Fair play to them. Shame on the spuds for not even bothering to support their team though.
There is a spud that not only thinks Bale is better than Theo, but that he is 3 or 4 times better than Theo Spuds - not deluded - much.
