I think I'd only take Dembele/Sandro from Spurs tbh YV! Possibly Defoe.

Parker would not get near our bench never mind XI.

The only players Spurs have that could improve us are Dembele and possibly Kaboul at a push.

Hazard, Torres, Cole, Terry, Cahill, Ramires and Oscar would all improve the Spurs side significantly. Havent even touched on Marin, Mata and Sturridge who could all improve them as well.

Personally I think we're on another level to Spurs now. But Spurs have a decent team. I genuinely feel we will finish closer to City/United than we will Spurs/Everton/Newcastle and co. Same for Arsenal.

I must admit I forgot to include Ramires when doing it in my head. I wasn't sure whether he'd be on the wing or in the middle, still not sure either. I'd probably have Ade or Defoe over Torres too thinking about it. Not sure why Lennon wouldn't be taken over Moses on the right though.

If Ramires is in the middle then I'd still rather Sturridge than Lennon, when Marin comes in I think he'll be a regular so I'd also take him over Lennon too.

Spurs have a good squad, I'd argue it's far better than most but you look at their bench and then look at City/United/Chelsea/Arsenal and ask yourself who can be a gamechanger?

I think if Levy dips into the market it will get you closer to challenging. You have the foundations of a very good team.

I rate Lennon but on form I'd pick Moses who seems to be more consistent and offer a more physical presence. I was very impressed at how he dealt with Cole and Ivanovic, I've not seen anybody trouble them as much as he did.

Yeah, we know you don't rate Parker :D

How would Kaboul get into your side but Cahill and Terry would greatly improve ours? We only play 2 centre backs each. And why Oscar? If you're basing it on performances in an inferior league Vertonghen would get into your side too.

Sturridge and Marin too? I don't think we're even talking about the same sport anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if you finished closer to United(in particular, if not above them) can't see the same being said for Arsenal, unless we finish above City and United <whistle>

You'd rather play Marin or Sturridge out of position?

Adebayor's a better striker than anyone you've got on your bench and Dempsey's got loads of goals in him, although it's a bit early to know whether he'll continue his last season's form for us. We'll have to wait and see but I think you're way underestimating several of our players.

Sturridge has established that right wing pretty well, I also agree with what DL said regarding Moses. Marin can also play on the right aswell as the left.

Right wing is Sturridges position. You are only as good as your best position anyway.

Last season Sturridge decimated the City, Arsenal, United and Spurs full backs in the 1st half of the season

There's not really much to say, it's just wrong. You're simply not watching Lennon if you think you have 3 better players than him. Marin is a number 10, he can play on the left but I've never seen him on the right, have you? Sturridge offers nothing on the wing he only worked when he was able to play as a forward in a 433, Bale can run fast and shoot too but I'm not suggesting he'd go on the right wing.

Marin is a winger, he's played there for Bremen throughout most of his career. Sturridge was our joint top scorer last season on the right and was dropped because we were a lot more defensive last season. If he was less selfish and knew when to cross he'd be one of the best in the league there.

<laugh> No. I genuinely think Lennon is average at best, he has his moments as most do but there's better players out there. It's all opinion anyway.
