The West Ham fans are going to be talking about this result for ****ing years. Probably their greatest in the last decade.

Pity they never spent that £110m on anyone good enough for our team. Might have picked up a bargain in January when they all cotton on to their mistake. Oh well........
£110m ! You can't underestimate what a massive amount of money this is to try and buy their way into 4th. It's on a par with the chavs and ****ty throwing buckets of money at the wall in an attempt to see what sticks - and it isn't the fist time that the spuds have spent big and come up with **** all. Getting done 0-3 at home by west ham. Is a total shambles as far as the spuds are concerned and shows that the spiv daniel levy might be good at extracting the maximum for his best players, but he also excels at expediating to piss that money up the wall.
Here's the brilliant Ravel Morrison goal again, and the the final nail in the coffin for the spuds at the hands of West Ham please log in to view this image
They should have taken the 6Op and packet of Monster Munch when it was on offer and got shot of him, instead they've just given him a new long term contract
OK - I'll bite. I won't complain that you are mixing up gross spend and net spend, but if you check I'll think you will find that this is the first time for years that the cost of our squad exceeds yours (and only by a bit). Because of the Bale windfall we are in the happy position of being able to match your spending. You've succeeded in 'buying fourth place' up until now. Let's see how we do.
Whatever way you want to dress it up, you've spent a massive £110m in one transfer window to try and buy your way into fourth. Anything less than a top four finish will be an absolute disaster in terms of pissing that money up the wall.
Totally agree. It's very reminiscent of when Arsenal spent over £50mill to make themselves a team that could challenge for honours back in 2011. That was a disaster as you've not had a whiff of a trophy since. Yeah so disaster's a bit OTT, eh? Arsenal lived to fight(and spend) another day as will we if we don't get top 4. It's the managers who's heads are on the blocks if they fail.
