I think there's a fine line between ambition and arrogance. So he has ambitions to manage a "big" club...what does that mean to him? So Swansea, Southampton and West Brom are too small. Does he really think one of the top 5 or 6 would have taken a punt on him?? At best he maybe could have hoped for managing Spurs (for a few months before Levy sacked him) or Everton but I think both those ships have well and truly sailed. This sort of comment just makes him look a bit of a chump just like our old friend Sparky did. I fully expect him to managing a team in the UAE or some other mercenary league before the year is out!
