Why not merge this and future threads into one then. That should keep everyone happy. ...and sorry Musty, but I'm also fed up of seeing 'Monk OUT' every 5 minutes as posted by yourself. I get your position, but to keeping doing it is tedious.
What right have you got to question anyone on the board who makes a decision. You or anyone have no right at all. We have the fans trust to look after our interests and it was the fans trust that first said laudrup should be sacked, It was actually Jenkins who wanted to give him time or he would have been sacked far earlier than he was...The board run the club and they make all decisions whether you or me or anyone else agree or not. They make decisions for the best interest of the club and it would be silly to think otherwise...
THIS ISN'T MONK VS LAUDRUP !! ....ITS ABOUT HUW AND THE BOARDS ACTIONS... JEEZ !! Huw and the board sure have a lot of people brainwashed in the name of "support the club " while they answer for f#ck all .Wear your brooms out making a lumb in the carpet all you want , some of us want the truth about the boards involvement in where it possibly shouldn't have ... period
why should the board explain anything to you or anyone why they make decisions? What can you do about it. If you dont like the way they run things then quit supporting the club as im sure nobody in the board would care. They are there to run the club and whatever they do will be in the clubs interest so why involve you or anyone.
Leave my thread alone valley , its about Jenkins andthe board .To change this thread is to prove my " pied piper " comment and another sweep under the carpet . Just because adamswan has a burr in his saddle , dont suck up to him at our expense . Free speech, this thread belongs alone .
this thread is dead...decisions have been finalized and now we move on with the club still in good hands and in excellent shape....pointless thread now..
If this thread is merged it proves no one wants to know what happened and everyone will have there headi in the sand thinking this was a Monk vs Laudrup issue and the mods will have overstepped to please the " pied piper brigade "
I sense your irritation, aswan, but for some, the subject hasn't gone away. And I don't see it going away for some time, maybe a season or two. Not until we are back in the top half of the Table, and in Europe after having won a Cup. Monk will have to prove he is an adequate replacement for the great man for it to happen. Perhaps a sticky would be appropriate, and any mod reading this could consider that as an option. Clearly,we have several camps here, viz, a)Monk's,who want immediate closure. b)Laudrup's, who still need some answers, and, won't let it lie until they get some, and, c)neutrals, who also would like some clarification as to what really DID cause Jenkins to dismiss Laudrup in such a ****ty way.
Roofjack - change the name of the thread. If you create a thread named "Laudrup vs Monk", how can you expect people to talk about the board? By naming the thread as you did, you've subliminally asked people to debate Laudrup vs Monk. On topic, as has previously been mentioned, the board are not alone, high and mighty, making decisions by themselves with nobody to answer to. There is the Supporters Trust that has a seat on the board and a stake in the club. If you want to have more of a say, you can join the Supporters Trust for a small membership fee and have your say.
Some of us want answers to your actions this season toward your behavior to the previous manager and his staff ....feel free to discuss
As an additional side note, over the last 2 years, I've heard enough from inside the club to suggest that getting rid of Laudrup was the correct decision. Not all of the rumours going around regarding his training and management styles are hearsay.
Do you know how far back you have to go to merge thread with monk and Laudrup kidders , no this is a sweep under the rug trick , nothing more
Tried that kidders and it was closed . Shove both threads up your arse valley , good luck in all your endeavors guys ... cheers
You have no proof that the board were wrong the sack him either. I'm not going to state the rumours that I know are true are, in fact, true because there is no written proof. Just as there is no written proof that Laudrup was unfairly sacked. So unfortunately, nobody has any legs to stand on. So how about just accepting the situation and moving on?
