The anti Laudrup brigade are so obsessed with him,and are trying to erase him from the Club's history. It won't happen as far as I'm concerned, and they will get that message eventually.

I think half the ML haters on this forum are more carrying on just to win the argument, its done now and we are all behind GM but I cant forget a manager who give us silverware and a adventure in Europe, even if we ended up relegated it would have been a good run ( thankfully that never happened .

His ego got so big that he got what he deserves....serves him right for being a big head and thinking he was so good that only big clubs would want him...well after a lengthy wait nobody came calling and the only person to blame for that is himself. I hope he has learned his lesson as no club in the premiership is below his standard..<ok>

Just back from the pub, what a great game.

Couldn't help but notice after scanning this thread that many post here-in mention "the Laudrup haters", "the anti Laudrup brigade" and so on, Who are these people and more to the point where are they? not here.

I do see a lot of pro Laudrup posters ganging up, shouting down and making childish snide remarks to any who don't share their infatuation with the Great Dane.

Could one of the clique of Laudrup lovers please explain to me, do the "Laudrup haters" truly exist and are they as caustic as you all seem to be. Are you not simply referring not to Laudrup haters as you call them but to anyone who feels Laudrup dismissal was correct and so who isn't in your little clique.

I was amazed to see that one obsessed individual actually took it upon himself to proudly sit sentinel all night over this thread, <laugh> so he could monitor and shoot down with churlish remarks and insult any one who dared have a different viewpoint of an ex manager. Priceless

Libertarian you have absolutely proven my observation, freedom of speech as long as its your speech.

As a very loose advocate of freedom of speech Libby, are you going to apologies to Dai for your rather childish name calling? Personally, I doubt you have the moral character to but, you do have the chance to prove me wrong and salvage your libertarian reputation, NOT.

Are the mods going to pick any one up for calling Dai names? or not, because its Dai?

There is a nasty little clique on here who treat this forum as a school yard, prowling for anyone who don't think Laudrup is:

a great manager? no, Ferguson, Marinio are great managers.

a good manager, not in my view, Tony Pulis is a good manager, rugged, battle hardened and reliable. I wouldn't refer to Laudrup being reliable if I had a book of adjectives to describe him.

a great guy? who knows, he may well be but no one knows him but...

...is he honest? Why are his words considered to be so yet others around him, including his long term friend and mentor, tumulutu, to be less so. After all, they both said exactly the same thing after the dismissal, absolutely NOTHING....

....which coincidently is exactly what I think about Laudrup, not love, not hate, just nothing.

That his name is mentioned alongside those clubs just shows how lazy journalism has got and how little most journalist know about football.

In my case I'm carrying on because it's such a laugh being able to wind so many people up with a simple little comment. I think Laudrup did well to win us the League Cup and did well generally in the first season. But then it all fell apart, especially the way be played, in-fighting, etc. In my opinion it was the right decision to sack him. Of course, we'll never know if we would have got relegated or not. But I don't think he's the right manager for us. No hard feelings, just moved on.

But what really makes me laugh is that he tried to make out we were a small club and he was too good for us, and to prove this he was only going to manage a top club. Then all you lot started trotting out all the big names he was linked with, as if this was proof of how good he was. But now for all his talk he's ended up with a smaller club. What I don't like about him is that he thinks he's better than he is and goes around bragging about it. Just makes him look a little silly.

He's not the worst manager ever, but not good enough for us. We deserve better. Whether Monk is the answer only time will tell, but i think he'll do well. But if he gets sacked I don't think he'll be saying he'll only go to a top club next. That's just a ridiculous thing for any manager to say. A top manager would never say that, as it would already be obvious to everyone. So I just can't fathom why Laudrup even said it. Maybe trying to convince himself. And why join such a small club after saying that? It's just embarrassing.

Stump is the ultimate keyboard warrior, who clearly has a vendetta against me,which is fine, since his opinion counts for nothing in my world.

The main thrust of his post clearly indicates that he either hasn't actually read all the posts on this thread,or doesn't understand them.

Keep up the good work stump.
