    What a step down for such a "great" manager. What happened to the offers from Real Madrid, Barcelona and all the other top clubs?

    When Laudrup turned his back on interest in the summer between his 2 seasons and commited himself to keep his team together after a superb and historic season , positions were filled at other clubs and doors closed . He will always sign 1 year , super money contracts till the right offer comes . If it doesn't come , he will not be bothered as much as he might have been in the past .

    He's the one that nearly got us relegated, until Monk rescued us. He's also a future manager of Real Madrid and Barcelona apparently.

    Hate to be a statistical bore but Laudrup contributed 24 points to Monk's 18,so your statement contains not a grain of truth,and merely avoids reality.

    He may well become the Manager of one of those two illustrious Clubs.
    Only time will tell.
    The fact that his name is mentioned alongside theirs would indicate that he operates at the highest possible level in his chosen profession.
    You really need to try a little bit harder. <laugh>

    The way some talk about Laudrup over the last half season or so , you'd thing they were talking about a Cardiff manager or something instead of one of Swansea greatest managers . Says more about a section of Swans fans than Laudrup ...
