Now this would be dream come true guys ! Sunderland AFC News And Banter Page: 18 mins @SAFCsource Sunderland interested in signing Fenerbache's Moussa Sow and have 'proposed a 4 year contract'. http://t.co/PdVoLnN0IU #SAFC
Too cold for Ilori. So says his dad. The pansy. Its not noticebly different to Liverpool, not that he ever got a game.
For three and a half years Moussa Sow Fenerbahce rampant. In a part of attacker left, he has become indispensable by registering at least fifteen goals per season in the league.Enough to arouse the envy this summer since it happens to one year from the end of his contract. Reportedly, a start is possible and several clubs have already contacted the player's entourage. The most serious, at present, is called Sunderland, who has proposed a four-year contract with the former Lille striker, aged 29. A Dubai club is also interested, like many Chinese clubs. Other English training could also take action in the coming days. We've been linked with him summer after summer but never made a move for him. 4 year contract for a 29 year old seems a bit daft if ture. Good goal scoring rate though. @Gustavo's Gonads? Worth a punt?
Great signings Townsend and Downing would be. Competing withWHU with their 54,000 capacity will go against us next season though, so let's get the south stand extended and put the away fans back in there !
As part of my FA Badges and Sports Treatment studies over 25 years ago, we learned that the average age of peak fitness for a footballer is between 27 and 30 years of age. I suspect with the constant increase of overall knowledge in the fields of medicine, diet and injury treatment, that this peak age might have risen slightly. What I'm trying to say is that an athlete in football terms, who remains injury free, can still easily be at his peak at between 29-31 years of age and still be able to maintain that level for longer. A four year deal would take him to 33. Past his peak yes, but he'll still have at least another few additional years left at top level ahead of him. A massive yes for me like !
But then the last two years your paying wages for a peak player. Much rather a 2-3 year then review in case a reduction in wages is required.
For a player of Moussa Sow's quality you have to find a middle ground, he won't come on your terms you can be sure of that. Given that you gave a 32 year old striker a huge contract for 4 years only 6 months ago, it's inconceivable that he wouldn't be demanding exactly the same if not more.
2 season before last he was involved in one goal all season. One goal! Zero assists! He was awful. Season just gone he looked a much better player. Knowing our luck we'll sign the one from 2 seasons ago
How much was that contract for? I read stories that said anything from £40k to £80k but I guess you only believe the £80k one! I don't know what he's on but... Then again... Neither do you!
Knowing full well that we have a wage cap and it's been Short's number one priority to bring the wages down. I'd say it's much more likely 40-60k pw for Defoe. One things for certain in my mind, no player at Sunderland is getting anywhere near 80k pw.
Downing..He'd pick Newcastle for the same reasons your players live up our way. It's the regional capital and simply a more happening place. he wouldn't fit Mike's recruitment though as he is too old.
Both clubs are on each others door step so Newcastle being 'more happening' life won't make a difference over which club to pick. Or aren't Sunderland players allowed to enjoy Newcastle? Even though they do. We've got larger than normal attendances, both clubs offer the same. It's just a long way from London so both suffer on that front. The area is the same weather a player were offered Newcastle or Sunderland, the fact our facilities still blow yours out of the water bodes well for us. From there it's a matter of influence and showing the money.
Based on what? The fact I'm not from Sunderland or Newcastle but can clearly see that 14 miles is nothing in location and knowing most Sunderland and Newcastle players don't even live in the cities? Or it could be the fact your last your last big signing was in 2008(Colo)? Yep you've got me You're just a ****ing magnet for the stars
Almost every single report is quoting between 70k and 80k a week but then again you will never accept it so pointless trying to convince you.
It's the regional ****hole for sure. I've never lived in either Sunderland or ****castle but if I was contemplating to relocate I wouldn't pick Tyneside if every Pigg Market slag sucked my cock. Have a nice day.
