No idea what you paid, the report says £9 million if it is wrong and you ONLY paid 6 for two players that didn't fit in to your style of play then you were still robbed
Does it matter? Even at £6 million Clayton swapped for those two is highly unlikely, I was just posting where I had read the rumour.
I would swap Clayton for Beckford. If you want to swap him for Mills i would want about 1M to go with it.
Beckford I would take back but we are not desperate for a striker, in need of another one yes but needs must in other areas, a straight swap for Mills I would be tempted but sadly it isn't down to me. Personally I don't see why we should swap him for anyone, we should be able to hand over £2 million for Mills if we hand any other Chairman in charge and still keep Clayton. I am not sure why Warnock doesn't feel he is worth the 9k a week he is rumoured to be asking, I still think it is gamesmanship. Warnock is going to be doing a lot of sitting down with agents, maybe he is trying to set his stall up early.
