    That sounded right Cracker Barrell until I saw the HH part! Love me some southern soul food, whether it be fried up, grilled up, BBQ, etc. Hmm best steaks are usually at places like Ruth Chris Steakhouse, the Butcher shop, each city has their own place where you go, actually pick your cut, guy cuts it there and grills it there. Unreal stuff but it puts a hole in your wallet quicker than you can say H&G.

    best drink Cider? you drink strongbow or magners i assume? Next time get a taste of woodchuck from vermont. A little sweeter than your normal SB or Magners.

    Boys, boys. This is getting a little off the beaten track. Grits? What the f..k are grits? It sounds like something off the Beverley Hillbillies. Didn't Granny used to eat them? They sound like some form of offal to me.

    Syrup on bacon and egg WTF? What has America done to you?

    Oh and KPR. We don't do bagels, we do BUTTIES!

    I used to get woodchuck at Specs if they were out of Ace pear(try it bluff its superb),my gf's mom was a texan and her cooking was suberb.

    So HH in Cincinnati is'nt up to scratch?

    The one in the heights in Houston serves meals on metal plates and you get you're drink in a jamjar for authenticity.

    First off, I don't like the syrup directly on the eggs and bacon, but I don't mind if it is on the side with flapjacks and they happen to stumble across one another. Ketchup on eggs is a must for me as well. Have not found an HH here in Cinci, we have IHOP, Bob Evans, Frisch's around where I am. I know what you are talking about with the authenticity stuff, gives me a chuckle whenever I go to "Old Town" places like that. Ever been to lambert's home of the throwed roll? Top stuff.

    Grits are real, and delicious if you like grainy food, which is pretty much what it is. To really bring out, get some lard in it! Potatoes are used for tots( little rectangular fried bits), has browns ( shredded and can be done variety of ways, southwest style is the best).

    Will say this though, our sausages do lack compared to the Uk's..... a joke is in there somewhere. Page will look for the Cali cider, have to go to specialty shops for it more than likely.

    Right. That's quite enough. Back to the original post.

    Gerrard didn't look particularly badly injured on that photo when he was watching Barcelona t..t the salfords with his mates in the alehouse, showing his open hand and 5 fingers.

    Who is still out? Johnson, Reina, and Stevie right? I assume reina and Johnson will be good to go for the season opener? Think this could be a very big season for Johnson.

    I notice Gerrard was in training today, does that harm your sources reputation? As Forza Napoli would say.

    Take a spin down to Curracloe, its lovely down there if the weather is fine. Its quieter than Court-town,thats invaded by Dubs. You would swear you were on O Connell St in the countryside.Either that or the Blackwater.

    Im staying in Ballygarrett which is only a couple of miles from Blackwater,North Wexford as as you know is now a suburb of Dublin

    <laugh>

    And to be fair i have a lot of Dub friends around Killena,Courtown and Ballygarrett.

    It makes the banter in the pubs better.
