At the end of the day, LUST was the only organized Leeds United group of fans that spoke out against the disgusting modus operandi of the Bates regime.

Did anyone else speak up for even 1% of us?

Very easy to sit on the sidelines and be critical. At least LUST did something. He was chosen by the group to lead. If you think you could do better, perhaps you would volunteer your time as he did.

What would you have him do instead? No radio interviews? No tv interviews? No newspaper quotes?

I, for one, think that LUST's work (yes it was work, not fun and games) played a huge part in Bates selling up. Well done chaps!

Wholly agree, Jonny. Silent majorities get bugger all done.

I guess it depends if you believe lust were influential, I don't and I will be amazed if they are ever accepted by the new owners

The fact that Bates singled them out, removed their access to tickets, & discredited them at every opportunity collectively & individually speaks volumes to me. Do you really think Bates would have done any of these things if he didn't see them as a threat? I can think of lots of ineffectual bodies & people he could have picked on but didn't. (Oh, that's right, there weren't any other loud dissenting voices, were there?).

Not knocking you or anyone else who believe LUST were influential, just I don't believe that they were <ok>

I would suggest they had no influence over anything, except that they occasionally got media attention and that this annoyed Bates. Time for LUST to close and those who were in it, to move on to just supporting the club.

I can't believe you've got some pikey who works for Hull City Council running your biggest fan group, didn't anyone in Leeds fancy doing it?

It's weird, if the Hull City Supporters Trust was in Leeds, nobody would join it.

I would :bandit:
