There’s still some very good players in there. It was never going to be as strong as normal with Saka, Palmer and Bellingham all out injured
Yeah, but Henderson? Burn might have had a decent time last year with the mags, but he'll be 34 at the world cup and will get shredded by anyone with pace running at him. I don't really disagree with most of the others, though I think Rashford has a lot to prove. He did pretty well last season when he went to Villa, but still wasn't at the level he'd been at before. The squad still feels as though some players are being picked on name and reputation rather than current form.
Henderson would be nowhere near for me but they clearly like his leadership skills and experience I don’t like Burn but I don’t mind his selection, I sort of get it. He’s very good at LCB and can play full back too. Crucial in both boxes
