Happy to see Lewis Skelly in there. Feels like he's got a shot at making left back his own. Dan Burn is an absolute donkey, mind. Amazed he's gone for him over Branthwaite. There is no future where he goes the the world cup, and we already have Colwill in the squad who can play lb and centrally. Complete waste of a pick, when there's talented younger players available who would benefit from the experience.
I don’t like Dan Burn but it’s clear to see why he’s been picked. Tuchel plays with 3 CBs and he suits the left sided role. We don’t have many at all who can play LCB comfortable
We've got too many midfielders and wingers to be playing 3 at the back - and not enough high quality centre halves. That would be a catastrophic way to set us up Edit: plus Colwill and Branthwaite could both do that job better.
Gone under the radar with the Henderson news but... Kyle Walker?!?!? WTF? He has basically retired. Spent his entire time in Milan so far sleeping with prostitutes and getting drunk.
Mostly used a back four at bayern. He'd be daft to go with a back three given what this country produces in terms of footballers.
I'd hoped Tuchel would give the youth a bit of a sniff but going back to Rashford, Hendo and Walker seems a bit strange for me. Good to see Lewis-Skelly in there
The good old FA have ****ed up royally here....not for the first time! Tuchel only has an 18 month contract,so he's going for the here and now ....he doesn't give a toss about building with youth. It's a very strange squad imo.No Gibbs-White or Hudson-Odoi...no Gallagher either. What has Rashford done to get in the squad...and Burn is 32! A mess and no mistake. If I cared about International football,I'd be a tad upset.
