This is purely my opinion but I for one I’m not remotely interested in what team an interim coach picks for a completely pointless two run outs for our international squad, which serves no purpose other than bolloxing up the fixture list.

That is a risk mate. It does seem he is from a very grounded family though, who have a clear view on the right club at the right time. I know a guy at Birmingham academy and he told me that purely from a motivation perspective it is about football development as quickly as possible for him, as it was for his brother. The money will follow. I think we will be sorely tested in the summer, and a couple of good England U21 displays will add an extra few quid to the bids. If he leaves us then I think it will be because it is right for his football development, not the dosh. Pleasure to have him here to be honest.
I really hope he and his family sees this as a sign that he’s in exactly the right place. If we can keep the wheels on the Regis bus a year as first choice midfielder in the premiership with us would be a massive opportunity to get a lot of minutes on the pitch, especially alongside his future international teammate Rigg
