I’m not sure he would whilst playing at this level He’s a class act though, just hope and pray he stays fit.
Guess hes the only other one playing regular but Ramsdale and Johnstone are head and shoulders above him
Ramsdale hasn’t been playing but he should definitely be ahead of Pope imo 6 years younger too, he’s a better long term option.
Leif Davis got 19 assists at this level last season and hasn't made the squad. Cirkin has a long way to go yet. Being established as a Premier League player will be the minimum.
I'm so out of touch (I could have named all squad members of teams in 1982 world cup) I don't even know who he is.
Left full back for Ipswich Superb last season and key in their promotion providing just short of 20 assists 24 years old, he should be way ahead of Cirkin in the pecking order.
Ipswich left back. 32 assists and 5 goals in his last 2 seasons. One of those seasons was in League One, but he improved as he stepped up last season. He's a real talent. I think Cirkin can be easily at that level to be fair, but he needs to play 40 games this season.
Yeah feels like Davis is the closest we've got to an English LB that can hang at PL level for now. He seems like an absolute disaster defensively but needs must and all that! Nice to have a turn of the millennium style LHS problem though. Makes me all nostalgic for the days of Phil Neville at LB
Talented player, seen him a few times last season and he seems to be playing deeper than he used to in his youth days. Used to play as a 10 but the games i watched ladt season he was operating as a deep lying playmaker. Always looking to pass forward, plays on the half turn but just lacks the physicality for the PL, could be prefectly suited to international football tho
None of them are anywhere near the standard of maguire Maguire is one of England's best CBs, never lets them down n him a stones are very good together
Agree there Experience is vital at international level too. Maguire still has a big part to play for England imo.
It's all about opinions, for me he's a great player in a side that defends the 6 yard box, any other system and he's not suitable. We should be a pressing attacking team, he can't push up to the half way line and get back. He has no pace and has been caught out loads of times.
Aye, class Love how Wharton can drop out of the senior team and slot straight back in with the 21s He’s 20 y/o, unbelievable potential
