Michael Appleton would be a good choice. Under the circumstances he has done a very good job at Pompey. They was doing well under him until the chaos restarted or even Lee Clark
There's quite a few rumours that Pearson's unsettled at leicester and could jump before he's pushed. If he goes to one of the smaller clubs, it's possible we could get the knock on of the outgoing manager? (I have no idea which one) As an aside, this is from the same source that told me about Colin going to TWS while Grayson was still in post it's possible Colin's looking at leicester. This is only the seond rumour I've ever posted.
I'm not sure I like it. I crumble under responsibility and I've never really felt the need to know things first. The problem most people face when they post a rumour is that it could be correct at that point in time, but if things change and it doesn't pan out you look a bit of a fraud.
A plunge on Mick McCarthy at 9/2 Here comes Phil Brown at 16/1 Billy Davies now 7/4 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/hull-specials/next-permanent-manager
''Former City boss Phil Brown also said he would âjump at the chanceâ to return to City yesterday, telling Radio Five he has âunfinished businessâ at the club.''
How did Barmby and Brown get on? Could this be the compromise? I want Warren Joyce or OGS to get the job but odds look poor. Needs quick solution.
Won't be Southgate as he has a contract with ITV and the FA are looking to give him a new role in their ranks too. McCarthy is going to the Euros with BBC as a co-commentator (he may also be in a compensation case with Wolves).
But during the FA Cup coverage both him and the guy asking him questions said that they hoped the next time they spoke McCarthy would be managing somebody, so I wouldn't rule it out that he'd take a job for someone before going to the Euros and combining media work with a scouting mission.
Karl Robinson is down as 25/1 but more surprisingly is Paul Tisdale, 38 year old manager of Exeter City, marked down at 20/1
People aren't claiming he's a great manager, he's only been a manager for a few months ffs, they'd just like him to be given the opportunity to prove if he's a great manager or not.
Curbishley is a southern tw*t. He even said on SSN yesterday that Hammers beat Hull City by 3 goals last week. No thanks. Slavan Bilic or Paulo De Canio would not be bad choices either. imo.
is he related to Colin Appleton, the club could cut costs even more with an Appleton strolling around doing DIY at the KC
