We can't be main feature every week, there are other clubs in the area. We'll get praise once we go up and not before. That's the way it should be.
That is the problem with the BBC lazily lumping us into the "Yorkshire" area. Now I am forced to hear about the fortunes of Leeds, Sheffield etc. despite them not being particularly local. I may as well hear about the fortunes of Tranmere. Surely the BBC could broadcast a show directed to the general Humber area so I am able to get more locally relevant sport, I resent that my license fee goes towards this.
But people are always whinging about Radio Humberside's coverage. Better having news of the other Yorkshire sides in our division and who we'll play, then of clubs outside of our county who are in the conference.
Don't think they class themselves as Yorkshire anymore. I'm sure their fans were singing we're Teesside now (or something like that) when we sang that awful Yorkshire Yorkshire chant, at the KC the other week.
I hate the smoggies as much as anyone, but at least they don't have difficulty realising they're located on the side of a river.
This BBC conspiracy against us is really getting out of hand. We should have one of either: 1. Our own show, on every terrestrial channel on prime time tv, and also our own dedicated sky sports channel like what the other big clubs have; or 2. They can show highlights of other games on MOTD/FLS, late kick off etc, but we should be the featured match every single programme. But, on the other hand, how will we keep under the radar then??!! It's a dilemma
