The third series of Late Kick Off, the Football League magazine show that takes fans inside their local Football League clubs, returns to BBC One on 16 January at the regular time of 2305 GMT. The show will feature the usual top news stories, backroom reports, interviews, discussion and match analysis of England's 71 League clubs.

Excellent. Over the last few months, I've trying, on and off, to find news of whether it was to return or be a victim of the BBC budget cut. I'd come to the sad conclusion that it had. Good news that it hasn't. New presenter perhaps..?

For some reason, it always starts in January.
I'll only watch it if there's something to do with Saints, like the fastest free kicks they did last time. Otherwise, all they do is show the same highlights as TFLS.

Good point. West Midlands..?

I see James Richardson is still the presenter for South and South West. Just wish he could lose that cock sure I-could-be-doing-something-much-better-than-this-if-I-wanted-to attitude. Graeme Murty and Leroy Rosenior are fine.

I think it's bevause it says the 71 English league clubs, well there are 72 in total - Cardiff = 71 unlucky Cardiff.

There is a programme on BBC Wales called Sport Wales so that will cover Cardiff plus Welsh league clubs I suppose. Anyway, I enjoy this, hopefully they will do some good features like last time. Also I think this might end up replacing the FL show because they can offer the same highlights without having to run a massive programme in the middle of the night...just my thoughts.

Hmm, that's a reasonable point, you make there Qwerty. Of course, anyone that keen could conceivably go to the BBC iPlayer and watch all the other local Late Kick Off programmes to see the other games. Also, am I right in thinking that Premier League teams don't feature in the programme..? Because I don't remember seeing anything about Pompey, when they were there, during the first season of Late Kick Off.

Some years back there was a programme on ITV in the evening that was solely about Saints. Also we had a small slot on Sky called Saints TV. It was obviously made by the club itself and transmitted presumably at our cost. This was before Sky was as big as it is now and they were trying things.
