I'm really hoping you sign some proper quality soon; without sounding too harsh, if you don't I can see you struggling (although I don't think you'll go down, you'll see when you play Stoke why they're heading down). I know you've had a couple of first teamers out, but your starting XI doesn't exactly scream "we're definitely staying up". NP has it in him to get some really good deals done (tomorrow's never coming for Cambiasso it seems), so hopefully he's saving the best deals until the end. It's a marathon not a sprint and there's a long way to go yet, but your squad lacks quality in depth.

    Good luck lads.

Six actually (Knocky was clearly not fit against Everton and Albrighton could only play a bit role on Sat), two of which, Vardy and Drinkwater, I'd say are absolutely key for us (although Upson's injury as been a blessing, because Moore as been superb). Performances have been fine so far (much better than some expected) and I've seen nothing to worry about. I've watched every televised (and some not televised!) Premiership match so far and I haven't seen anything to fear from our "rivals" in the league (ie, teams expected to struggle). I would only worry about us if we get hit by 6-7 long term injuries or we get raided in Jan (both possible but unlikely). I think we will strengthen, but anyone expecting us to go crazy over the next week is likely to end up sadly disappointed.

Talking of relegation; quite honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the current bottom three went down. Burnley have hardly invested (and were significantly behind us last year), QPR look awful and Palace should never have "sacked" Pulis.

I'd agree with most of that, I think you look steady if not unspectacular, but to be honest it's what we all wanted in our first season and I'd take it this season and all! My only concern for Leicester is strength in depth, if like you say you're unlucky enough to be hit with 5 first team injuries, would you say your back up is of PL quality? Because balls deep into a fixture strewn March you're really gonna need the whole squad at your disposal. It's why I think Brucey hasn't got rid of all our fringe players, he seems to have kept the likes of Boyd, Quinn (who's come in from the cold rather well to replace Snodgrass) and Bruce, especially with our European adventure too (although that might come to an abrupt end come Thursday at 10pm.)

    3 new players! <laugh> in a week! <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

We'll be lucky to have Cambiasso before Stoke.

Having made 1 "signing" the whole window (if you don't include the frees that wanted to be part of a prem team), i can't see 3 in a week.
