Thanks Thai - and it will be all the stronger if it attracts good sensible people like yourself from other clubs
Nay problem, Leo - we do disagree on this, but that's what stops a forum being dull. As far as I'm concerned, everyone on here is a Hornet and I feel close to you, my brother and sister Hornets, for the very reason that you are Hornets. We all sing "Come on you 'orns!" together after all .
To get back on topic Malky who? Hughton gets brum job ! and told promotion or the sack!!! No pressure there then!
At the risk of getting flamed for having an opinion , what is the difference between DG and MM departures?
DG gone to number 1 club in Wales, a premiership team MM gone to Cardiff City a direct rival to Watford this season, the inference is that MM rates Cardiff above Watford though they are in same league DG a player, clearly stated intention to play prem football, playing career likely to end in +/- 10 years, Watford business model consistent with selling him MM a manager, bought into the watford way career to last until retirement (65?), signed 3 year contract and part of watfords long term plans DG is a gentleman MM ? DG played all cards on table MM suspect prior contact with Cardiff in breach of contract Anyway Malky who?
They wanted to secure him for the next "rocky" year at least and thought thye had with the new contract. Also DG going suited the player and the club and no one disagreed - MM going suited only MM and the club refused him permission to speak to Cardiff but he insisted and did anyway and probably he or his agent had in advance as he flew back from Italy and signed the contract there and then which implies the terms had already been agreed. So DG - good nice young man leaving in the poilite way with the blessing of club ; MM - no honour just thoughts of self and has increased our likelhood of relegation just by going and then tried to poach the guy we were looking at to replace him. One month ago MM was highly regarded by us all now only a few who cannot see what he has done is pure selfishness still think he has any honour left.
