    If we sign Macheda + another striker. Then fine. I'd be happy with that. If we just sign Macheda. Then Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! He has scored 1 goal in the Prem lol.

    This. Don't think clubs can loan to another club in the same league during the window he is signed in. He can go abroad though.

    Decent proving ground, if he scores more than 30 goals next season, slap a £5m bid in. <ok>

    On an only slightly related note, I see that Al Bangura is now playing in the Conference! This is the same lad I tipped for the top and wanted us to sign. Got deported despite being a regular for a decent Charlton in his teenage years. I wonder what on Earth happened to him! Went abroad and has come back to non league football. Hasn't really broken into the national side either after looking so promising.

    I heard he was under a lot of pressure to achieve the glory that one person felt he was able to attain but in the end was admitted to an asylum abroad where they slowly rebuilt his confidence.

    I do remember being very excited about him a few years back, saw him as the next Essien.

    If he's willing to slum it, maybe he would sign for Blyth! <yikes>
