With 3 games to go we have our play off destiny in our own hands in one of the most competitive leagues in the worlds, I'm not sure why we should be apportioning blame to anything either!

If anything I blame injuries. Yet again we seem to have been blighted by injuries to key players.
Not taking ANYTHING away from Max, who has stepped in brilliantly, but when Maenpaa was fit and playing, we had a confidence about us which resulted in an 8-game run without defeat. Without him - although Max hasn’t done anything wrong really - the confidence is weaker.
My perception of things anyway - maybe I’m wrong???
We also seem to struggle when Pack has a bad game - which he will have from time to time.
And what about all those disallowed but perfectly good Weimann goals? There must have been at least 4 - which would translate into maybe 4 more points?
Admittedly we have also had some good luck - the dodgy penalty vs QPR springs to mind, but that has been eclipsed by the horrendous officiating in our Villa game, which arguably made us lose a game we should have won (another Weimann goal disallowed plus their dodgy pen - we could have won 2-1 but ended up losing by the same margin).
Sometimes it feels like trying to swim with someone’s foot on your head!

Having said that, our brilliant run came to a end after the Wolves game.....but I agree, the Championship is ruthless, just ask Leeds, their Easter was worse than ours!!

I say again that we are in the most difficult second tier sports league anywhere in the world, bar none. To move up to the next level takes more than just luck, although it helps, but rather a combination of factors with a large dose of commitment. That doesn't necessarily mean a shed load of money but rather common sense and the ability to spot good committed players in the bargain basement, and good luck with that one. Still a chance of the playoffs, but our seeming ability to throw what appeared to be a great season down the drain still makes me wonder - what if?? Your versions of "what if" might make interesting reading (NO not Reading).

We’ve also had arguably the most difficult run-in of all the top 10 sides
