Imo, from the word go, BCFC has been a toy for SL, all be it an expensive toy that he wanted to be able to dabble or have a go with. Can’t fault the finances he’s invested into the club, but his involvement regarding football matters have been our downfall. With the employment of Coppell and signing of David James showed the lack of knowledge required to build a Premiership club.
I could never fault his enthusiasm and dedication into turning a backwater club with a stadium to match into facilities worthy of most big English cities football requirements. But matters on the field itself have not really progressed, certain bad decisions seems to be his Achilles heal..
