    I have to emphasize that I never actually sat down to learn Swedish and Danish haha, they come with the territory of learning a Scandinavian language.

    Apart from these nope, that's enough for me <laugh>

    Yeah that’s a good point. I know an Argentinian girl and don’t have a clue when she’s speaking Spanish. Went to Costa Rica and it was easier than being in Madrid. Imagine coming here to learn English and rocking up in Newcastle.

    My daughter is learning Japanese using Duolingo. I'm gonna take her there in a few years when I've saved up.

    I can speak a bit of Spanish, French and Greek. And can get by with a few words in Arabic too

    I've always found the best thing for learning a language is immersing yourself with it when you're in the country. But I appreciate it's useful to have a few phrases under your belt before you get there.
