I think the point was that Longstone/Haman was trying to get the whole agreement struck down without going to trial because they knew if they went t court they would be forced to admit that one was the other.
In other words sam was taking money out of one pocket, putting it in the other and charging himself (CCFC) 7% PA compound interest for the privilage. The Judge referred to that at the beginning of the Judgement and I think that everything he said later was with the idea in the back of his mind that that was not a fair action.
He quotedcase law to demonstrate that CCFC had a fair chance of success in a court case and Langstone/Haman backed off because they knew if they went to court and lost they would never get a penny.
I think if there is any prospect of Sam becoming involved with the club again someone should consider him being inverstigated with regard to who is a fit and proper person to be inovlved in the running of a club.
Making him even an honourary President is likely to cause more of the Silent Majority to leave the club quietly that all of the loud mouthed Sam supporters who threatened to leave because the shirt colour changed.
The truth is that they didn't give a toss about the shirt, it was just another chance to try and scare away new investors so Haman could come back and steal the club back over his dubious loan deals and they would be able to do all their bragging and posturing again.
Maybe the majority should start twittering and e-mailing the Directors like the loudmouths did, but do it politely so they know the size of feeling about the man.
