I am really struggling to find words to describe my thoughts surrounding the expected debacle on the hiring of our next manager based on our less than stellar history of getting things right. The thought process, if you can call it that, must be fairly stringent in it's vain attempt to find us the best manager available that is willing to put themselves directly between the Lansdowns and the on-field product. Hoping that this time we will get it right is a pipe dream for me as it has become a very tiring hobby supporting a team that is incapable of making any game changing decisions that would bring joy to our world. I wonder what false promises are being floated around the interview process and even more importantly will any of them ever be kept, because that is the sign we all need to know that this time Lansdown is prepared to back his actions with follow-up reality and openness. There is nobody on the current radar that fits my mandates, but then again why would they, because quite clearly the cheapest option is certainly on the table yet again. The January transfer window will soon be upon us and if the powers that be decide to miss it again perhaps the last person off the ship could please turn off the lights and put a "For Sale" sign on the front lawn
