Lamps a Manc?

  1. I wouldn't say he was complete garbage, but he wouldn't be my first choice, nor would I say no to having him on our bench.

Wilkins is obviously using the situation to wind up Abramovich, and why wouldn't he ???? He is on Nero The Roman Emperors' list of shaftees, and obviously doesn't have a gag order in operation.
Frank would be mad not to go to Utd if offered it, but suspect Cole will wan't more than a year and will go where he gets 2 or 3 years, PSG.

Lampard will be playin for the Galaxy come end of the window. The Galaxy have publicly stated they intend to always have marquee player at the club and with the departure of Beckham that slot is open. Frank Lampard is the best known player that is available and would likely consider a move to the states. As a Galaxy fan (they're my local team) I'd prefer we used that designated player spot to keep either Omar Gonzalez or Juninho at the club, but the club has stated it's desire to always have at least 1 well know player to sell merchandise.

I think there's good reason to go with this idea Manobear! He spent some time over there last summer with Beckam and I had a suspicion there might have been more in it than a summer holiday!

I can't imagine Lampard wanting to leave his family behind and move to America, after all he has a couple of kids with his ex wife, and she isn't going to follow him out to America. Lampard will go to the biggest premier league club that offers him a contract.

If Man Utd don't pursue there interest then I can see QPR and Redknapp snapping him up if they avoid the drop. Chelsea supporters shouldn't expect Lampard to move abroad, after all it is Chelsea who want rid of him. He has to make the move that is right for him, not the one that keeps Chelsea fans happy

Heavy rumors circulating hear that a deal will be announced by the Galaxy and the signing of Lampard next week. Some are saying he'll stay at Chelsea until the end of the season. In my previous post I said I'd rather we used the money to keep Juninho and Omar Gonzalez and we announced a 4 year deal for Juninho. We have the best midfield in MLS, so I'm a bit surprised we're chasing Lampard. Assuming its based on the amount of money he'd bring in through shirt sales ect.

I can understand his family not wanting to move to America, but they'd be moving to the greater Los Angeles areas which isn't a bad place to live.

A player has to think of life after their career playing stops. A move to LA for Lampard can only increase his profile.
