Fingers crossed Chelsea aren't considering a move for Steve Bruce. We would be truly ****ed if they appoint him
He was better last season without spending any money, this season they have splurged lots on players without any structure or apparent plan of how to use them and fit them together as a team. Big Mike will look at this and think it validates his minimal input, as Chelsea were better without the investment.
Shhh, that's too obvious. You do know that big fees, equals no human frailties and just robotic function and performance. I still think as a club, they are the blueprint for everything that is wrong with the sport. No loyalty to managers or players, no chance to every lay down a plan and see it develop. Their outlay on severance payments to their management and coaching teams over the years must be massive.
This. I do think it's pretty cold giving him the boot and given time to make a proper project out of it he probably could have done well but at the end of the day Roman is decisive and during his time there really Chelsea have punched well above their weight. He manages the club like he's a fan I always think. Not a local fan but he loves playing at football manager in real life
