Think I prefer what I've read about Campelos.

That one has come from nowhere with the bookies, though 'he has been Cardiff's no 1 choice for some time'.
Given he's not featured with bookies, either Dalman has been holding his cards very close to Tan's chest, or its bobbins just to make us believe they had a plan.

No Portuguese for us then Sparkey. Turks incoming.

The bookies must have made a bloody fortune.....<laugh><laugh>

There’s plenty to ponder but 3 points jump out from that article for me:

1. Bamba & Whitehead (as I mentioned earlier their contracts are up this month

2. Who is this guy? Well here’s the reason he’s coming

3. Now this made me think - he threw the cheque book at the appointment but who’s going to be in the squad given there’s an embargo?

Whilst I’m happy to reserve judgement on this bloke until he’s given some fair time, this doesn’t change my opinion that we’re going to be relegated and we’ll be going through this new manager search process again within the next 6 months.

This club is diabolically managed and run.

Not sure which surprised me most, Bulut being a friend of Dalman or Sol speaking Turkish.

As for throwing open the finances, could come down to the salary for Bulut (though would hope Dalman could get 'mates rates'), or the overall wage bill, not just money for signings.
Looking forward to a couple early deals being done as Erol gets a few tried and trusted players in.

That makes it look like another I'll judged punt by our illustrious chairman. Hope it's not a "jobs for the boys" appointment.
I'm with Blue Sheep on this one and praying that my cynicism is unfounded.
While we wait to find out, I shall be more positive.

You can imagine Erol jumping at the chance to get into English (Welsh) football. If he wants premier league football he'll either have to get us there, or do a good enough job with us to justify someone else wanting him. Either way, he needs to do well with us.
As you say, it smells of job for the boys. Just hope we are wrong.

Interesting words from Tan.
He hopes the appointment will allow us to sign higher calibre players, for years to com.
Not sure how we attract those players though, without splashing money. Also, Tan expects him to be around for a while. Both points would be nice.
Not much said about the type of football Erol wants his teams to play though.

Dalman got his way with Solsjker; that went well didn’t it<doh>
