Depends what you want really, physical and Ariel presence then Lambert, but for skill and pace Maynard, each are very good in there own way, would be a dream partnership but being bias ill say Maynard, although i do like Lambert
iIt's blantently obvious that it's Maynard Bristol Rovers Fc Pointless thread saints fans will say Lambert, City fans say Maynard, well the givesheads might vote Lambert, still living in the past
Lambert without a doubt. Not just a striker who scores goals but links up magnificently with the team and provides others with goal-scoring oppurtunities.
i would say Lambert is best on currant form , but Maynard will get better due to his age ( 24 i think ) where as Lambert is in his prime at 29
"gasheads" trying to claim credit for Lambert again,he's been with Southampton for 2 years, talk about clutching at straws,he's gone, get over it,you had your £1m......
Lambert is better at penalties and set pieces. He has size and presence, whereas Maynard has pace and awesome skills. I would love to see them partner each other. I was one of the few city fans on here who wanted us to sign him at AG when the gas were in self-distruct. Impossible to pick one over the other - unless on a rainy day with a slow pitch against a team of cloggers then Lambert. On a dry day against a good footballing side then Maynard.
Maynard is the more proven at this standard but that's not to say that Lambert isn't a useful striker aswell. Now that he's acting professionally with a decent club instead of being a fat bastard with a **** club, Lambert is starting to fulfill his potential.
A fat bastard with a **** club who dumped the ****heads out of the cup with ease. Maynard has only ever dumped on your "pitch" if you can call it that.
