In the spirit of the transfer post, just letting you know that I'm off. Been planning a road trip around Europe for years, and this is it. Required a great sacrifice from me - missing the Man Utd game, and the start of next season. I seek an opinion from Saints fans - just how much fawning and "oh-you're-wonderful" from my wife should I expect for this level of sacrifice?

Been a great season for Saints. But one of the things that I love about being a Saint is the quality of this board. I have read other club's stuff and frankly it is awful. For wit, huimour and insightful comment this is the place to be.

Also , that is why I like this board , you can comment and people may well not agree with you , but it is mostly very Civil !

I'm planning to drive my Land Rover to Norway this summer, culminating in seeing Neil Young live in Bergen on 1st August.
